About Porcellino

About Palazzo Porcellino Gallery

Palazzo Gallery is in the very heart of Florence and has been in the Bianchini family for many generations. This large freestanding historical Palazzo, which

dates back from the 16th century, has been stylishly renovated by present owner Alessandra Bianchini. Her eclectic style has achieved the perfect combination of comfort and design.

Right in the front of the Palazzo, is the famous wild boar statue that attracts visitors from all over the world to rub its nose in exchange for good luck!

The Boutique B&B Porcellino Gallery, which name was inspired by the statue, aims to similarly bring people together in a comfortable and chic environment.

Facing the Piazza di via Pellicceria is the elegant large 2, 4 or 10 bedroom serviced apartment, with high ceilings, 17th-century tapestries, and large panoramic balcony.

It has all the comforts and style for the perfect stay in Florence.

The Palazzo Cavalcanti Gallery is 100 meters from the Uffizi Gallery, Piazza della Signoria and Ponte Vecchio. This is in the very heart of the city.

GUEST REVIEW

I stayed for 2 nights and had the lovely Moroccan themed room. It was very comfortable and felt quite luxurious for a bed and breakfast.. Location was perfect a few minutes to Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio, Duomo, all the tops sites are easy walking distance. Staff were lovely , I was given lots of information and the attractions marked on a map. Breakfast was nice, pastries, rolls with ham and cream cheese, fruit and yoghurt, orange juice and freshly made coffee. I was traveling solo and felt very safe and welcome here, I would recommend it to everyone and will hopefully return.
