Nestled in the heart of Chianti Classico area, between Florence and Siena, surrounded by its vineyards, luxury Villa Rignana is exactly what you would expect from a film by Bertolucci.
About the villa
The Villa was once a monastery dating back to the XVII century, it has been restored and furnished, combining antique furniture with pieces collected during our travels. An integral part of our lives here are the animals: four friendly dogs, four elegant horses, two cute ponies, a cuddly cat, two adventurous bunnies, chickens and ducks who provide delicious fresh eggs for breakfast.
At Villa Rignana, the cook prepares Italian dishes with fresh ingredients taken from our own organic vegetable garden, just a few steps from the kitchen. The freshly prepared dishes are accompanied by our very own wines and olive oil.
Like the pure tradition of the Italian Dolce Vita, you can enjoy dining with a view under the rose gazebo. Everything is provided for you to live the friendly yet luxury Italian experience.
ACTIVITIES
Fill your days under the Tuscan sun by lounging by the infinity pool, striking dynamic Yoga poses, playing tennis-bocce-ping pong-pool with friends and family and many other indoor games for those rare rainy days.

Beautiful villa in the Tuscan hills. Rooms are designed uniquely - rustic but with a touch of luxury. Breakfasts were delicious and Alessandra the villa owner was extremely hospitable. The pool is gorgeous and views from the grounds are stunning. We loved our stay here and would certainly recommend for families, friends, couples or even for weddings. Thanks Alessandra.
